A Beautiful Day for a Picnic!

~~Jefferson, Wisconsin. - One of the oldest non-profit Catholic service organizations in the country, St. Coletta of Wisconsin, continues its annual tradition of their family and friends summer picnic. Over 500 individuals travelled from near and far to celebrate in what has come to be known as the organization’s best event of the year. The family weekend is two full days of events which welcomes persons served. their loved ones and staff members to join in activities that celebrate the mission of St. Coletta. Friday Mass at St. John the Baptist’s church in Jefferson with Father Tom Coyle leading the service kicks off the weekend which is followed by a banquet style dinner at Jansen’s in Fort Atkinson. On Saturday, family and friends gathered to listen to a video presentation put on by St. Coletta’s leadership team then proceeded outdoors to enjoy an afternoon of games, prizes, food and fun. “The turn out to this year’s picnic was remarkable and we are proud at how well the event was orchestrated. This occasion impacts the people we serve, their families, our staff and the community in such a positive way.
