St. Coletta of Wisconsin Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

Jefferson, WI. -  St. Coletta of Wisconsin, provider of residential and vocational services for adults with developmental announced today that Don Busakowski, a seasoned financial executive, has joined the company’s leadership team as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. 

Busakowski bring with him about 25 years of business experience in financial management and leadership. Before joining St. Coletta, he served as Controller at J.G. Van Holten & Son, Inc. and was responsible for managing the accounting, finance, HR and IT functions.  Previous to that experience he held numerous leadership positions including:  Accounting Manager for Milwaukee Public Schools Division of Facilities and Maintenance; Controller for D.A. MacPherson, Inc.; and Management Accountant for First of America Bank.  Don also owned and operated an accounting and software consulting business for 12 years.

Busakowski’s hire follows the retirement of Bud Kempen, former CFO of St. Coletta of Wisconsin for the past five years. “I’m excited to join an executive team, and finance staff, at St. Coletta that has worked hard to provide a great quality of life for people with developmental disabilities,” Don said. “I am very impressed by the team’s dedication to strategic growth, its devotion to the St. Coletta mission and everyone’s commitment to positively impacting the community.”

Busakowski earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.  He resides in Jefferson with his wife Erin and has four children, Aaden, Mason, Courtney and Kyla.
