Commitment to Excellence for Future Generations
Posted On: June 28, 2013
Dear Family and Friends:
Thanks to the continued dedication and hard work of staff and volunteers, we have successfully achieved the objectives of our ‘Building a Foundation for the Future’ 2008 - 2012 Strategic Plan. St. Coletta of Wisconsin is considerably stronger, more innovative, and better positioned than we were five years ago to assist persons served in realizing their highest quality of life and opportunities for personal growth and spiritual awareness.
We are proud of our successes to date, but recognize a need to improve our existing operations so we can continue to produce quality outcomes for the people we serve. Enclosed is the next generation 2013-2016 strategic plan, which focuses on “Commitment to Excellence for Future Generations” of persons receiving St. Coletta services. The new plan compels us towards realizing our mission, a bolder voice for persons with disabilities, and more engagement within our community. To achieve these goals from a tactical standpoint, we will focus on building the organization’s financial strength, offering services that are valued and sought after, and maintaining a knowledgeable and compassionate workforce.
In addition, our new strategic plan includes an updated vision statement for the organization that focuses on serving people with developmental disabilities and other challenges throughout their lives with a commitment to quality outcomes, personal spirituality and innovative partnerships so that they may live their best life possible.
As we begin to implement our new strategic plan, we have our feet firmly on the ground with over 109 years of history, a bedrock set of values and standards, financial stability, and a great organization of committed volunteers and staff. Our plan is not only ambitious but inspiring. I look forward to working with you and others to help sustain our mission which was declared by the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi over a century ago, as we continue our journey of assisting persons served to lead rich and fulfilling lives.
This is an exciting time to be a part of our organization and we thank you for your ongoing support.
