Senator Kedzie and Representative Nass Visit St. Coletta

Jefferson, Wisconsin. - Monday, February 11th, St. Coletta of Wisconsin welcomed Senator Neil Kedzie and Representative Stephen Nass for an informational tour about the organization. Tony LoDuca, President and CEO of St. Coletta, guided the tour through the tri-level administration center, home to both the administrative operations and two vocational day programs offered for aging seniors and people with developmental disabilities. While touring the facility Kedzie and Nass were able to experience first-hand the mission of St. Coletta when they were given an impromptu performance by Gerry D., longtime resident and organist of. St. Coletta. “When you see it with your own eyes, you grow to appreciate the quality of services we provide and how it really makes an impact on the people’s lives that we serve, “says Bud Kempen CFO for St. Coletta. The tour concluded with a drive around Jefferson, where St. Coletta’s owns and operates thirty two group homes.
During the visit, Kedzie and Nass discussed such relevant topics as Medicaid, Medicare, budget planning and economic trending with top St. Coletta executives. The discussion helped to shed light on the future impact these programs could have on human service organizations. “We are very pleased Senator Kedzie and Representative Nass were able to visit our facility today. The impact our organization has on Jefferson is significant and we continue to advocate on behalf of the people we serve. With support from state legislators like Kedzie and Nass, we will be able to continue our mission for years to come and help to fuel Jefferson and the surrounding area’s economy”, states LoDuca.
