New Leadership Announced at St. Coletta of Wisconsin

St. Coletta of Wisconsin, a primary provider of programs & services to help empower people with developmental disabilities, is proud to announce the promotion of three exceptional staff members to director level positions.

Liz Brzeski has accepted the position of Director of Residential Operations and will provide leadership to our residential programs located in Jefferson, Waukesha, Madison, and Illinois. Brzeski came to St. Coletta in 2006, starting initially as a case coordinator in Jefferson but transferring to Waukesha in 2007 where she was recently serving as program leader. Prior to St. Coletta, Liz worked serving people with developmental disabilities through Curative Care Network in Milwaukee as a case manager.

When asked about the Waukesha residential program, Brzeski responded, “I’ve watched this program continue to grow and develop into something really special made up of incredible staff members who are not only compassionate for the individuals we serve but also fierce advocates for ensuring they have the quality of life they deserve and the mission they bind us to”.

Liz resides in the Village of Merton with her husband Ben and their dog Wendell; she is a certified master gardener who enjoys playing both the piano and guitar.

Mario Dealca has accepted the position of Senior Director of Programs & Services and will oversee Case Management, Day Programs, Vocational Operations, and Mission Effectiveness.  Mario has been a long time member of the St. Coletta family beginning as a Vocational Counsellor & Pastoral Minister in 1989. He has earned two Masters Degrees both in Special Education & Divinity and currently is in the process of obtaining his PhD in Special Education.

Regarding his new position Dealca insists, “St. Coletta is an amazing organization to be and I stand behind their mission 110%. I could not be happier with this opportunity and look forward to challenging myself to take our programs department to the next level”.

Mario enjoys researching new topics, staying abreast of current events, and spending time with his wife Graciella.

Cathy Roberts has accepted her new position as Director of Licensing and Quality Assurance. Roberts, who joined the organization 22 years ago, began her career at St. Coletta of Wisconsin as a Geriatric Program Specialist in the Alverno division.

More recently serving as the Director of the Jefferson Residential Program, Cathy will be shifting gears slightly continuing her focus on the residential side of business but now through extensively monitoring the quality standards within each home; ultimately enhancing the level of care our clients receive. Roberts says, “I’m very excited about transitioning into my new role here at St. Coletta and am pleased to still be working with the wonderful staff and clients of the Jefferson program”.

In her spare time, you can find Cathy spending time with her loved ones including her husband, John and their combined families consisting of 2 sons & 2 daughters, 2 daughter-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys travelling and recently took a trip with her husband to Denmark.

“Liz, Mario, and Cathy have many years of industry experience collaboratively and will serve the organization well, maintaining a strict focus on our vision of growth, quality outcomes for persons served, and development,” said Ted Behncke, St. Coletta COO and Vice President of Operations. “We are excited to have them fill these significant roles on our management team.”
